    I need something really compact. Clips are just for plastic covers on PCB boards, typically.

    I ordered some cheap pry bars on Amazon for the time being.

    The harbor freight trim panel tools are honestly pretty stout. Served me well, but they look very similar to the Amazon ones, etc so its prob the same tool set.

    Oh dude, Burke bars (or this variation of) are sweet. We used them all the time at work when I was at the cnc shop cuz you could reposition a 2000 pound alloy ingot with minimal fuss. One dude in shipping was even shifting empty conex containers around with one.

    Well not exactly a "tool" but did take advantage of Grainger clearance on some fasteners. Got a bunch of 3/4 and 1/2 grade 5 bolts in various lengths plus a few other sizes and some metric stuff (all either grade 5 or grade 8.8). Not bad when a box of 25 was only ~$2 (averaged out)

    Trim clip tools are a good idea, I haven’t seen anything small enough. The clips I tend to deal with are not automotive style clips, and typically don’t have a lot of working room so OAL is a consideration with the pocket sized pry bar.

    I bought 3 different sets of trim tools from Amazon last year, some are plastic, some steel. Pretty much happy with the selections. Frankly wish I had these starting about 30 years ago!!! I say shop and get a good wide set
