I know it's not technically in Norcal, but just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a trustworthy shop to do a basic 5100 shock/spring and aal install in the reno/sparks/carson city area.

Shops up here in the Tahoe area are pretty slammed at the moment unfortunately.

    Thanks in advance!

Have tools, no floor jack and nowhere to do it unfortunately. Live in a condo with no garage or carport and the HOA president lives next door.

For sure. I go down to the Bay ever couple of weeks but always need my truck when I'm there. I'll see what pops up around here! I can definitely wait a bit haha :bananadance:

Small update. Big Bear Automotive in Tahoe City did a bang up job on the install. Sits exactly how I wanted it. 5100s w stock 3rd gen OR springs all around, 1/2" spacer on the driver's side, 1/4" on the passenger and a 1.5 aal with the overload in.

Any issues with the needle bearing as of yet? No UCA’s either?

Have some random vibrations every now and then from it. Had it when I had some spacers in the front too. Just got used to it and it comes and goes.

Stock UCAs...tires aren't too close to them, but probably should have gotten them just because eventually I'm gonna want them.
