That third time you tear apart the entire front suspension to find the slight looseness you feel...

Only to realize it’s a loose bolt in the new steering rack.

So sad - I hate when that happens. 3rd times a charm though. Nice setup btw.

The sensors were already wired up for the auto case so i just swapped those over. ADD was deleted with the FJ diff tube. Or were you referring to something else?

High locked shows the 4 high light and low locked shows the 4 low light

I can't believe how many bumpers only use the studs on the front to attach to the frame! Terrifying prospect to winch off of. My CBI ties into the frame back at the sway bar mounts in addition to the studs in the front and bolts on the bottom.

I heard POR15 is the way to go.
That's what I'll be covering my future sliders and bumpers.

Even my powdercoated tent rack is rusting... like wtf lol

No ones powder coated parts last long in Alberta.

I think because it actually gets rid of the ice, not just covering it.
We still have lots of sand spread everywhere and end up with a couple inches if sand piled up on the side of the streets in the spring/summer.
Also, the sand will nicely sandblast all your truck, THEN the salt will make it rust... :bananadead:

They rub like crazy at full lock with any movement or if the tire get stuffed.

Next set of tires will be a skinny profile.

Got my rough country seat covers in today. I saw them from another member and they are great. It states they are for a 16-20 Tacoma but they fit my 14 just fine. Also painted the fogs with krylon stained glass paint. 10 coats.

Interesting choice on just the transfer case, or are the rest still on their way?

Rockblokz for oversized tires clear 285s great. They're alittle spendy but a great option if you wanna run flaps with 33s. They put tons of grit down on the roads out here in the winter instead of salt because it's bad for the Salmon so no flaps results in sandblasting the side of your truck really quickly. I ran without flaps for about a week with 285s before ordering them and have been very happy.

Yeah, I have those but I don’t like them. Too stiff and the shorties are nearly useless.
Should probably post them up for sale

Gotta say I was surprised at how little those seat covers cost. They look great, and for 120 bucks I could do them if my OEM covers were getting bad.

I bought the full skid package from RCI which includes the engine, transmission and transfer case. I installed the engine skid already. I installed the transfer case skid today.
The transmission skid will be an issue. I have a 4cyl. and nobody makes skid plates for the 4cyl. The transmission skid is too short for the truck.
I'm going to have a better look at it but I think I came up with a solution for this issue. The problem is having someone make the part that I need.
The problem is that companies don't want to make a 4cyl. only skid option because most of the Tacoma's are 6cyl.

Ah gotcha, that makes alot more sense. From the angle in the pic I thought you only had the transfer case.

Installed Rago Fabrication Maxtrax mounts for bed rail. Hats off to Rago, these seem beefy. 93FD745D-83D0-4B41-B3AA-C3BB65AD4FED.jpg 1607618F-771F-4141-9E68-1266FB324302.jpg
