I know I know another thread asking if it will rub. But I also have the TRD "beadlock style" rims which have a 4.5" offset or something like that. Will 2" be enough to clear 285s? Thanks

No one can tell you for sure if it’ll rub. For instance, I have a friend that rubs on 275s and a 2” lift. If you want 285s that bad, just go into preparing yourself to have to trim.

This is what I figured I was going to get. Every truck is a little bit different. I really want to go 255, but I wanted to test out the DuraTracs in the winter and they only have 265/285. I have 265 on now and wanted to go a little larger and use the tire through winter and then the next summer. Just to test against the KO2 I have on there now.

33x10.5x17 Kends Klever Rts, lifted ~1.75" in the front, and maybe 1" in the rear. 17x8.5 wheels with 0 offset. Lots of caster, no rubbing on the street. Fronts rubbed on plastic and the body mount a bit at full flex.

Well I have 170k on my 16 DCSB OR and I'm on my 3rd set of duratracs and I will never buy another tire, you will not regret it. They are the best tire in all aspects especially snow.
I'm on stock 265s though and have the beadlocks aswell. Good luck!

Yeah dude! And basically what I did: cut a slit open in the rubber, drilled holes through end of each bar. Put bolts down through the rubber, and bolted them to the rack. Not 100% security proof, but it would be hard to get all the nuts off as they wouldnt be able to get a wrench on the top bolt as its inside the rubber.

Too much to name for this little space
I have 275/70s and they rub at full lock on my sway bar with a 4" lift. I would guess 285s will rub with a 2" but also think about getting spacers if need be. I would try to ask an offroad shop near you their recommendations and then ask here on TW. Rubbing is based on specific width, offset, diameter, and lift so there's just too many variables to help out too much

I do not think so, I had to max my caster , and get a CMC done AND mold the plastic with a heat gun so..

I run 285's with 0" offset and the OME heavy kit. gave me about 2.5" of lift. Basically no rub with minor trimming, didn't even need a CMC. But like people have said, every truck is different. I know buddies rubbing 275's on the same kit.
