Finally got rid of the silver harness from the OEM power tailgate lock install. I’m not sure why Toyota ran the foil insulation so far along the harness but it stuck out like a sore thumb where it runs along the wheel well. I used a combination of black braided wire loom (3/4inch) tesa tape and black Rustoleum. No longer draws your eye to that spot.
    Before and after pics.

Installed a Warn VR EVO 10 on a Relation Race Wheels hidden winch mount. After a bit of cutting on the mount, I was able to re-use my N-Fab Light bar. Had to relocate the control box of the winch up and to the left of the winch, but all in all I'm pretty happy with the install. Took about a day and a half. Should help me get over those pesky curbs in the mall parking lot....

Look at their pics on the website of the top side of the main skid, reinforcements and gusseting are 1st class and well designed. Fit of A Arm skids is perfect conforming to the AArm for max clearance with some subtle metalwork (expensive) and square holes for carriage bolt/sliders. ...and yea, I'm a manufacturing engineer...these are really nice pieces of work!

I had a pair of these on my old RSX-S and loved them. Subtle but a good conversation starter for sure

Sanded these C4 Lo Pro bed bars yesterday, going to use rustoleum enamel to paint them today! I’m no professional and honestly wish C4 offered powder coating but these bars were the best looking low profile ones I could find.

Is there a local Line-X dealer that you could get the bars done by?

I swapped in my meso customs turn signals and made the truck a little more uniform! The weather has been awesome so I took full advantage.

I also made a video, completely for fun and with some instructions for anyone else who’s considering it.

Got my amp research steps in and realized they have dents on the boards in the back which isn't okay with me for the price so sending them back. Then I looked at the wiring harness and all that and had a mini break down thinking about installing it. Then had some wine and forgot about it. This was last night at 5mp not the 8am it is now

That's a horrible idea. What time?
This was the lowest price of the brand that I saw, it was prime, and had good reviews. I didn't expect it to be an end all solution or to solve world hunger, so I am happy thus far with it's performance. However it has not been tested with the heavy, clay type mud that just glues itself to what ever it can. I will be trying it on the deck and sidewalk to see how it works for a cleaner, but I don't think it will do a lot unless I change the tips.

Loving the bed and hood decals. I have been thinking about getting them. How are they holding up and where did you get them?

Got them off etsy from a guy by the name "superdec" though he doesnt seem to be on etsy anymore. I installed them in july of 2019, the bed side decals are still doing great, the hood has a few spots (the red/orange/yellow) that have corners peeling up a bit, and there are 2 small cracks in the very center of the black part. But here in MN we have -20 degree winters and 100 degree summers. The vinyl is said to have a 5 year life, but with the extremes here in MN im guessing ill have to replace them next summer.

Yeah, with extreme temps like that I could see that happening. Take care and thanks for the info.
