    I am watching the local news, an NBC affiliate. They report gas prices have gone up 29% since election day. In my area, the price has gone up 40 cents, from $2.49 to $2.89, over the last few months.

    Wholesale clubs like BJ's and Costco $2.60-$2.70; There is a Lukoil in Montgomeryville that consistently charges a dollar more than gas stations just a couple miles away, and was at almost $4 per gallon last weekend.

    That Lukoil NEVER has anybody getting gas! :luvya:

    And there where people buying gas

    People are lazy here. Could save a buck 1 mile away at a 76

    And it’s the only damn gas station in the area that has prices that high; People have told me that it’s a LUKOIL thing, but every other LUKOIL in the area that I’ve seen has prices under $3 per gallon for regular!

    Least I spent on gas WITHOUT any kind of discount was like $1.70 per gallon at BJ’s using my dad’s membership card (aside from the membership card, that is)...

    Some Giant grocery stores have gas stations; On one occasion, I used my Giant at one of these stations and was able to pay like 30 cents a gallon due to a combination of buying A LOT of string cheese and my card still being linked to the account that my parents use when they shop.
