My buddy owns a off road accessories store, and he's doing some lifts wheels and tires on the new 2011 Tacoma's and said he would give me the wheels off of the 2011 Tacoma TRD sport model, they look pretty cool but what do you guys think? Is there anyone who has this setup or knows what it looks like? Just looking for some input out of you guy's let me know what you think.

If he's going to give them to you, just mount them and see for yourself. I'm sure it'll look good.

If I knew any better I could have sworn there's a thread on here with Gen 2 wheels on Gen 1 Tacos.

So I got the wheels yesterday from free they are, 2011 Tacoma TRD sport wheels. I have to get new tires, Im going to get some M/T's probably somewhere around a 32'' tire. I have been looking and I havn't found a 1st gen with a lift and 2011 sport wheels with mud's, so keep your fingers crossed for me!:D

    TRD skid painted black,
The backspace is about 3/4" more than the 02 alloys.
I put the 17" sports on my sons 02.
    They look good.
The tire moves in closer to the upper ball joint so keep this in mind if you go to a larger tire.
You may have to move the wheel out with a spacer to keep it clear.
