Ratchet and Clank: Future is a great game IMO. And its been out a while, I think they just dropped the price on it.

xbox is fun. but microsoft and the customer service is a joke. they continue to knowingly put out defective crap and just extend the warranty.

ive had to send my xbox in about six times this year. the last time they sent me a broken xbox that wouldnt work. i called them. told them it was broken. sent it back that same day. they later said that i tampered with it and voided my warranty and charged me 250 bucks.

fuck xbox. "buy american" my ass. made in china and outsourced to india. buy the playstation.

PS3 for the family/all around entertainment/casual gamer (as in you like to play online but it's not your life).

    360 if you're a hardcore gamer and it's all you do. :p

I think I saw a deal for a bundle of Little Big Planet with a second controller for just $5 more than the controller itself! I'll pick this up with the system.

The kids usually get gift cards from their aunts and uncles so they can shop for Ratchet and Clank.

I can't wait to watch my first Blu Ray movie on my 42" TV!!!!

    Cheers.

I am also an XBOX 360 owner and love it, but the main problem with XBOX 360 is it is pretty much at its ceiling as far as what the developers can do with the processor that the 360 has, PS3 on the other hand has just really starting getting into what the cell processor can really handle so things will just get better and better as time passes. PS3 hands down especially since you are in need of bluray

I used to play the previous Hot Pursuit when I was about that age and loved it. And the new one looks sick.
For me Playstation has always lead the way.
    Merry Christmas!!!

    Does Plasti-Dip count as a mod ?
PS3, and the PS2 and PS1 before that, have just worked as they should. Never had any issues.
xBox may cost more to add on things like wireless, sub fees for the online gaming. The controllers are weird.

Other than 'exclusive' xBox games, I don't see the value of that system

Just to add fuel to the 360 vs PS3 debate, I like the exclusive titles on Xbox more. If Gears of War was on Ps3 though I probably wouldn't have an Xbox. Also, Halo FTW
