I'm not being paid at all for this, I just believe in shouting out businesses that do me right: I highly recommend NEK Collision in St. Johnsbury if you ever crumple your truck up.

Before and after pics below of course but more importantly, John the owner genuinely digs automobiles and offroading, went out of his way to give me good product knowledge that he didn't have to share, and made some solid recommendations that saved me hassle and money.

    Before:

He was extremely cool about the work I wanted done and the timeline I was looking at. The prices were more than fair (let's just say I came in at less than half the insurance payout even after paying for the ARB) and I'm extremely happy with the quality of work and attention to detail he and his techs paid to my truck. He gave me a walkaround before letting me leave and pointed out a lot of details of the work that were done exactly the way I would have done myself.

Thanks BadDNA, I am very interested indeed!! Howdy TacoVErmont30!! I am pretty close by as well, up here in Stowe. Looking forward to getting together for some touring this spring/summer. If the routes are easy I would enjoy taking my truck out. If the tracks are a bit too much for me though, maybe I could ride shotgun in one of the more capable rigs. Fun either way!!

Some dipshit tried driving up the groomed xc-ski trails on Mt Hor over the weekend too. We were out for a cruise with @.Q. on Sunday and went for a quick walk up to the overlook. There was a guy working his ass off to repair the damage to the trails there. Where'd this one happen?

Down in Ludlow. There were like 3 separate tacomas stuck on various trails this weekend. Sucks that happened to your xc trails! I rode yesterday in Willoughby State Forest. Absolutely beautiful first time this year.

Had a nice drive up a local Class 4 with the dog. Decided to get dumb and get myself stuck for practice. Didn't want to tear up the road or the shoulder too bad while it's all so soft from the melts, but found a good snow hole to roll into and let the truck settle onto the frame. Dog had a good time while I played w/ 4Low and then we hit the top end of the road on foot because the snow over the big rocks was still too deep to see what line to take.

Any of ya'll been using the warm weather?

So little over a year ago I was stupid and sold my Tacoma and bought a really nicely built Jeep with an Ursa Minor top on it. I have concluded I really dislike Jeep and will be selling it and getting another Taco.
I was wondering if anyone in VT has an Access Cab with an AluCab Canopy Camper on it. If so would my wife and I be able to look at it and pick your brain

Well got an appt at baileys spring shop end of the month.
My 2012 I got after my 08 was totaled 7 months ago now has a broken driver side.
Developed a thud stopping and starting after hauling top soil for the wife.
While I was greasing the shafts and changing the rear diff fluid (it was nasty) it was neglected a little, I noticed the broken spring!
The people at Baileys are building the leaf pack for me and installing them for about what I could purchase the packs alone for.
I was just gonna buy leaf packs and do the install but after calling them I will be getting a beefier pack without adding much lift and installed.
I’m not so ocd about this one but am glad to have them being the ones doing it.

    Wow were you ok????
I love Baileys. They rebuilt my leaf paks based on your recommendations and it was the best service ever.
My 2013 is still plugging along with their springs up here in the NEK. I am not as ocd as I use to be with my truck except for keeping it up maintenance wise. too many dirt roads.

Hey ya'll. Figured I'd stop in and say hi from the Middlebury area. No idea how I've never seen this thread before.

    Hey Judy,
Yea I’m good small bruise on my ankle where it must have hit the brake pedal.
Truck took it like a champ!
I was pretty shocked to see the damage compared to how it felt inside.
The guy who T boned me said he was sore I could see powder from his air bags on him. Pretty near ripped the front of his Jetta off.
He slid thru the red at his estimate 35-40 lol I was doing 35 at least.
I miss the 08 but the crew cab and v-6 are nice to have. The dog loves it and them farmers with their fancy tractors don’t pass me and flip me off anymore!
Glad to hear baileys spring packs are doing well I’ve got no worries bringing my truck to them!!

It is, a 2009. I’m trying to keep work miles off the Tacoma. I’ve already put 10k on the Fozzie since March. You may see me bumping around Derby/Newport…

Nice! Haha I just did a round trip to Rutland and back. Loving the mileage. I actually feel like I am cheating. Derby Newport area is nice. 25 minutes from my house. I bought my car from Brighton Garage Craig Goulet. So old school there. He is wicked honest. It was his Dad's garage now he is 74.
