Yup. I ran those and they looked exactly like that. Those might be the long travel version. They ripped within a few days due to the fins rubbing. Had to tear it all apart again. My buddy @FirstTimeFirstGen helped me

Ive never understood the point of those silicone boots they sell, if they rub they're still gonna tear apart except now the torn ones were more expensive than regular boots

Took lots of your advice and took my truck to a different shop to get another alignment. They flipped my cam tab back the right way and hit the numbers no problem. Wondering if I should bring this over to the old alignment shop and be like wtf!9B3223B4-D0D1-403B-91E7-A7989106654E.jpg

Was the first one a Firestone or similar? Because they probably won't care or will say they don't normally work on trucks with lifts or something. A good alignment shop is worth every penny in my experience. Or finding one with good techs I should say.

It was a locally owned big o tire. I’ve had good success with them in the past. But they have a new alignment tech

Yeah the was more of a hypothetical WTF, I’m not an asshole, I wouldn’t go in screaming. But the owner is an old school guy, I think he would appreciate the feed back. Might just call him up and talk over the phone and if wants me to bring it in to review I will.

Made some headway on my dakars today after getting replacement main eye bolts yesterday. Got the passenger side all done and hand tight/snugged. Had a hell of a time getting the axle lined back up to pop the pin in the perch. Ratchet strap helped pull the axle forward and the hub is looking pretty center in the wheel well. Tomorrow should just be rinse and repeat

Hopefully getting the drivers side done tomorrow, then throwing the wheels back on, torquing everything fully, and taking a test drive. Gonna crank the Kings up another 5-6 threads to take up some of the inevitable rake.

Were they the offroad solutions high angle boots? Yea, that pick was right off the jack so the truck stance is not set. I am going to look at the boots after the first drive to see if there is rubbing or anything.
