I plan pn putting a leveling kit on my Gen2 this weekend (3" front, 2" rear) and then upgrading to a larger tire. I want to keep my OEM 16" rims and my local tire shop tells me I can go up to a 285/75R16. I am planning to use it for riding and hunting, but not interested in cutting a bunch of plastic and fender. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Considering Cooper, Maxxis 2, and Toyo MT. No purchase made yet... looking for opinions.

    Thanks!

    Lift, tires, stuff
255/85/16 - tall and narrow, will rub way less and not stick out past the fenders.

Look into 255s for the least trimming. 285s will almost certainly require cab mount chop(CMC) and may have to hammer pinch weld and trim but it's all in good fun

If you like Toyo, I run the new AT III on my taco and T4R. Lighter than most but still really tough.
