Ended up leaving work early to bring sister in law to the dr, but I'm parked next to this thing!

@emelianenkov crossed my mind the other day as I've been looking at Subies and thought back to our discussion on the underpowered crosstrek...Didn't realize they had the 2.4L turbo in some of the outbacks and legacies. Why not put that in the crosstrek :notsure::notsure::notsure:

If I remember right, Subaru said that it was because they didn't need to because sales were already outpacing production. So maybe in the future if demand drops you'll see one :notsure:

Hey guys, I know this is a dumb question but where in NE has cheaper skiing lift tickets? It seems "because of covid" (that's the response I seem to get whenever I ask why is it so expensive?) the prices are super high!!!

    tiny but it’s close.

    https://www.bluehillsboston.com/bluehills-dailytickets-seasonpasses

Think about it - they have the same season they can’t run into summer, they have the same space they can’t expand, and they’re told they can only have half the amount of people - means they have to double (for example) the cost to remain in business. Blows but it is what it is.

I haven’t been to blue but if I go out next year I’ll probably land there first as a reminder of how to even do it.

So great day today because the Michelin LT M/S Defenders are back in stock (apparently) AND BJ's has a 40/off per tire Michelin and 50% off install...This is like $40 less than I paid for the set on my truck now 93,000 miles ago :)

@mach1man001 usually berkshire east is a pretty decent deal. Skiing in general is out of control price wise. I can't mentally wrap my head around paying that much for it. Some of the big mountains are insane.

damn 93k that’s impressive. I’m not a tire guru but I think those are C / 6 ply equivalent? I’m hoping to get that life out of my next set of tires and they’ll probably be E / 10 equivalent.

we have these on the venza in 245/55/19 and they’ve been awesome for the last 3 years. Curse Toyota for using a 19” rim though.

    @Fitzwilly @Johnny balls

thanks gents! Got ply wood and an air dam in my truck right now. I’m probably going to do the platform Tuesday or Wednesday when it’s closer to 60 degrees rather than 30 this weekend.

    nice snag dude!

I had good experiences with my osprey backpacking pack, and my snowboarding pack. Pricy but they all come with a lifetime warranty. I grabbed my wife a kid carrier from them and its been so nice for both of us when were carrying the little guy around on hikes and around town.

All right so y’all piqued my interest and I sought out the paperwork to figure out the exact mileage. I’ve got about 700-1000 miles of driving over the next 2 weeks so it’s going to come in right about 90,000 miles.
    Here’s the paperwork from 2016.
BTW I rotate every 10k or basically ever Other oil change and I have A lifetime alignment at Sullivan tire I’m waiting for them to tell me they can no longer allign the tires due to rust :)

glad I could help. My In laws did a cross country trip camping in the back of a high top fiberglass capped long bed Tundra a few years before my FIL passed. They had a blast. There was a custom 2x4/ply sleep/camp platform that I cleared out of the garage 2-3 years ago.
I have about 5 weeks vac saved up due to covid and plan to do some traveling with the fam as soon as things are cleared to do so. Haven’t seen my folks in Florida in almost 2 years so that’s the priority.
