Front diff leak location

    After thinking this was a power steering leak, it turns it it’s gear oil from my front diff.

    I believe it’s from my CV axle seal, but I wanted some input. My pictures are attached.

    but you’re probably right if I’m just seeing mirages.

    Oh yeah, that is residual from my wrapped head. I had an engine replacement not long ago.

    It's coming from my newly replaced rack and pinion. I definitely thought it was gear oil, but after turning it back and forth after coming out like wild fire. I took it in to a shop just down the street who was willing to take a quick look at it and they confirmed that this was the case.
