LEDs are JDM astar. Resistors are 50w 6 ohm. Links below. I still have the hyper flash issue even with resistors in place. I was able to ohm all connections and they all appear to be connected correctly. I tried eliminating one side and the opposite. Tried this with one bulb at a time on all corners. This happens front or rear, driver or passenger. Any idea to why this would still be happening? Could it be the LED headlights or fog lights? I also removed the mirror turn signals from the equation as well.

I should probably add that it only does this while the headlights are on. Headlights and fog lights off, the signals work correctly.

How come you didn't try some plug and play CANBUS options? Just out of curiosity

+1 for most likely a poor ground wire. Check your connections

Mainly because I’ve seen many good things about the astar bulbs.

I tested everything to ground and made sure connections were solid while troubleshooting. I should probably add that it only does this while the headlights are on. Headlights and fog lights off, the signals work correctly.

I see. Personally, I just don't like messing with stock wiring if I don't have to. There are a few plug and play options out there if you wanted to try that route. I love the ones I have. But, it looks like a few others have some good suggestions for you! Best of luck, either way!

I will look into those. I just typically like tinkering with things haha.

Mine are GTR Lighting Carbide CANBUS 2.0 bulbs. I had hyper flash one time, but I had been sitting on the side of the road for about 20 minutes with my flashers on. After they cooled down they were normal again. Just as a place to start

I definitely know that feeling about tinkering with things! I'm just not good at wiring or electricity.

Not sure about your resistor but many use the resistor case as the ground. You may have to scrape the paint under the resistor.

I threaded the resistor case and screwed straight to the bed. Should be a solid ground.

"Should be" It should present about a 50 ohm load between the case and the pig tail too. I mounted mine right to the metal with a screw also one worked the other didn't had to sand a bright spot on the truck metal work.

I've got factory LED headlights, and the MESO stage 1 taillights worked for me without resistors. Tried Lasfit and EVO bulbs but had hyperflashing

With MESO I do have hyperFlash but only when in reverse and turning but I never do that. MESO has plug/play resistors if needed and often sends them for free if you contact him.
