FRS and 4R coming along nicely! You really smacked a tree pretty good, glad it was an easy fix!

Washed and waxed recently. Lights all done with wires tucked away neatly.

Painted end section of the catback satin black. Likely smash or scratch it next time on a trail but oh well.

Yeah, I noticed the oem tip was more oval where is had been round originally. I got this one tucked up as far as it would go and it sits about the same as that oem did.

I finally installed UCAs after 2 years lifted on oems. Only sat in the garage a couple weeks til i felt like working on it. Does feel more stable now on road other than slight pull right that i can get rid of with alignment.

Wife got in truck today, looks at the hatchet, then gives me the side-eye "is that legal?".

Reminded her of all the trees along our driveway and how limbs fall across the driveway sometimes.

4.5" tips on the FRS. Couldn't go much bigger than that.

Made a basic cardboard template for main section of a rear diffuser panel that tucks up nice below exhaust but haven't decided how i want to do the details yet once i start working on metal.

And this is main reason we are disassembling front of the car.

Bumper hangs a bit lower than the 4Runner does and i may have dragged it a few times too many.

Going to do some other stuff while there is easy access now too.

    Stitched the plastic together.
Bent some thin stainless steel rod, heated to glowing red, and pressed it into the plastic.
I'll trim them to about 1/8 inch then put a layer of epoxy.
Maybe it'll hold together next time i smack the bumper in a low spot of road.

Done (except for wiring foglight switch).
    Bumper crack fixed.
    Separated grill fixed.
DRL disabled (because my LED bulbs are bright AF)
    Black headlight mod.
    Smoked side markers installed.
    Fog lights added.

And this was the last i saw of the FRS.
Tundra just barely fits in garage. Have to back it out to get tools from cabinets.

Wow. I haven't really done anything to the 4Runner since 2020 but it is in need of tires. Unless I find an amazing deal, that expense has to wait til spring. Thinking some Baja Boss AT are what I want.

Also, it's been almost a year since I traded FRS for the Tundra and i still havent gotten rid of parts i have left over from it. But then I still have Tacoma parts too and I sold that truck in 2018. :anonymous:

Gonna have to put some more Tundra pics in here as well I guess.

new tires on the 4Runner. Like these Toyos a lot so far. Also found this pic I took at work some months ago of my Tundra parked next to a stock one. upload_2023-12-21_21-54-45.png
