Nice bow. I’m still shooting a 10yo diamond nitrous lol. Slow but very smooth and quite.

Most of the deer in eastern part are small but plentiful but I’m in one club that has most members that let most young ones walk and the last 3 years we’ve seen a big improvement with quality in antler size. My other lease is in north central part of state and antler size is much better but I’m hunting property that borders other large tracts that do qdma and definitely makes big differences

Yea I’ve got a couple hundred acres in Texas that borders a big outfitter that does management. It makes a difference for sure, but more than anything his big bucks come hang out and stay on my land because of the lower pressure. Granted they venture out on his land cause he feeds 365 and has mineral, etc..

    That’s beautiful!

found a dead deer on one of the barrier islands this morning while we were out in the boat. I’m so curious what they are after out here that’s good enough they’d swim the intracoastal waterway

Two months in and I’m hooked. Well, I was hooked after two days but now I can tell I’ll be shooting forever.

Getting my groups to tighten up and looking forward to a Turkey hunt in a month.

I'm pumped in two weeks heading on an axis doe bow hunt!! I haven't meet ranch owner (set up through friends) but hoping he'll let me shoot trophy blackbuck or some other exotic!!! haven't shoot bow since Jan, will have to throw a few dozen arrows to get muscles right!! but I'm excited to put meat in freezer (hopefully) and to work my blood tracking dog!!!
