What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Oof. I should've waited. Mine shipped already I didn't know a V5 was soon to be released. I've got a 2021 OR so I probably want the newer ones if the reverse sequential matches. Tbh I havnt looked at the headlights while the turn signal was on I don't even know the pattern of mine. Anyone want to buy a set never been opened if I happen to not want them when they arrive?

 

I'm just looking for another alternative to my chrome heavy tail lights. All the options I like seem to be out of stock. Anyone have any good tips on in-stock "SR5 like" tail lights with no chrome?

Has anybody given this grill a go? I miss the Pro grill from my old truck, and this one offers the option to spell TACOMA in place of TOYOTA. Thoughts?

 

Depends on your price range and personal style but I have the 2020 TRD Pro tail lights. With LED lighting, they look great and are very bright.


The 2021 TRD Sport at the dealership last week had what I assume is the TRD Sport tail light (duh), which is the same as the Pro with the exception of being chromed instead of blacked out.

 

Thought about doing a body lift. Decided against it.

 

Made use of some patches from my previous 4Runner, noting what is in the under seat compartment or behind the rear seat back.

 

Drove to domino’s to get pizza and saw this beauty...

Oil change
Couple trans drain and fills(looks better but I might do another tomorrow)
Rotate tires
Grease driveshaft
Took off a heat shield that's no longer needed after the exhaust reroute
Cleaned up the skids and threw some touch up pant on em

 

One of my covid stay home projects.
I bought a blank Carr step hitch ,a Toyoda steering wheel emblem and 5/8 hitch lock. I vinyl wrapped the back plate or you can body color the back plate for nice stock accent.

 

I've got a lot of friends who are either in the Army or Marines (or retired from them, respectively), and somehow that truck sitting in front of the Marine recruiting office probably doesn't help with the jokes about the Marines.

I'm having mine drained and filled sometime soon. I've never had a problem with it until last week, when it started stuttering while slowly accelerating between 20-30 mph.

 

I can vouch for the truth to this...my dad is a Marine, and his trucks always looked like this...always Fords, always green with a cap..totally tricked out

 

Finally enough snow was gone to start uncovering truck. Was able to at least get a good look at the front. It's a big mess of twisted metal. Ordered new hood to start.

No pictures, I don't know that I want to take pictures. Got a hell of a spider/crack in my windshield yesterday, and I have flat no clue how it happened. Had the thing 6 weeks.
