50+ thread

20” ryobi. Never again for me. Plastic everything and chain tensioner is garbage. $200 for a single tree down...not even warmed up! Renting one today instead...makita...we’ll see how it goes. But I really need one for my place as my old craftsman bit the dust. Saving for a real saw now.

It started out in the teens here but the temperature is supposed to rise to the mid 50s with plenty of sunshine by late afternoon. That's a great mid March day.

Good Morning. Back to work, but no kids on Monday’s. Time to catch up on all the other things I have needed to do. Bought a new Hybrid mattress on an adjustable frame. I used to do tall tree removal and ran a Husqvarna 266xp but now I run a Stihl 041 and ms 200t. They are incredibly dependable saws. If you just need something small, the ms 180 is a really nice light duty saw.

 

Thank you for that. Now I did see a Stihl at ACE hardware for like $175. Are they any good?

Ive always used Stihl’s but on the new ones the chain tensioner is junk.really doesnt lock down well.fight chain tension alot on mine

WOW! Yeah thats a little out of my price range for using it a few times a year. Thanks for the link tho. Learning the curve is tough. HA
