I'm looking at lightbars (30") for a possible front bumper install.
I see some Baja Design lights that are driving/combo.

Does the light operate with two switches? If both driving and spot lights are on at the same time, what's the point?

The reason for the Driving combo is to get light output in a more broad of an area. If you just had a spot pattern you have distance, but lesser performance up close or wide angle. The driving combo has a few lenses in the wide cornering pattern, so you get a nice spread of light left and right, as well as more focused beams for distance. They run off one switch. BD is awesome and I love mine.

I went with a combo flood / spot and I like it.
