Awesome! My only recommendation would be to take a chainsaw..we came across a few downed trees that blocked our path..So we'd have to either turn around, or in one case while we were in the Ozarks we had to go up a gnarly hillside backwards lol

Great pics, trip looks awesome! Mad props. Some humble words of advice, take it or leave it, next time you have your wife under the truck with a tire off don't simple trust the hi-lift. Support it with a/some stand(s), or at least throw the tire that's off under the frame. That is unless you're not very fond of her :gossip:.

HAHA....yea, we actually bought some jack stands at the same place but they were'nt tall enough. I agree though..Ive seen a jeep fall off a hi lift without rear wheels on..funny...but scary.

How interesting is the NC-TN part? Got a couple friends with dual sports who want to do it and I figure I'll be a mobile base camp for them with my truck. It's a good 10 hours for me to even get down there, is it worth it for me to do that leg with them?

That area of the trail is pretty straight forward. Mostly fire roads that wind their way through the mountains. Definetley more scenic than technical here. They wouldnt really need a base down there..when it gets closer to Arkansas it can get a little bit more technical then the further west you go the rougher it gets. Hope any of my incoherrant rambling was helpful lol
