    Anybody come across an aftermarket replacement LCA that isn't $1600-$2000? I looked under my truck today and noticed my lower ball joints were looking a little rough. There are plenty of stock replacements but I was wondering if there was an aftermarket option below the Dirt King and Total Chaos option. I guess I'm looking for an upgrade over stock but beneath a full blown Total Chaos arm.

    Unless you're going long travel, the general consensus is that OEM is your best option for performance and longevity.

    at least that's what they tell me on this forum lol.

    I only know of three companies that make better than oem lca's, and all are intended for lt setups. The two you mentioned already and jdfab. Any reason oem isn't good enough? They should last well over 100k.

    That's pretty much what I have found as well, was hoping there was a magical set I haven't come across yet.

    No reason in particular honestly, I just wanted to see if I there was a mid grade option out there. There is a VERY good chance I just go all LT with JD's stuff. I can't stop drooling over it.

    I replaced my rusty LCA's & blown bushings with Moogs, and also replaced all the alignment bolts with OEM hardware last May. I was going to do the Whiteline bushings, but ran out of time. Moog LCA's are good for me so far.

    I have +10k miles on my Moog LCA's. I don't want to sidetrack OP's thread anymore, so i'm out after this post. He's looking for LCA's that are better than stock but less cost than the big boys.

    I went straight to OEM and didn’t pass go.

    $265 delivered from various online retailers was a no brainer for me. Same for OEM hardware.

    I replaced mine with moogs and im totally regretting it.. mine rub at full lock. and i have clicking noise that i suspect is coming from one of them...
    How are you guys liking yours?

    I got Dorman LCA's and by 5K the ball joints had excessive play. I replaced them with MAS XL ball joints. I don't remember where I got them but they sure looked better than the POS Dorman's. The bushings are holding up well so far, but if you get Moog or Dorman LCA's, replace the BJ's - Mevotech or Proforged. I have about 15K on the Dorman LCA's.

    That clicking may be due to them having the wrong torque specs.
