2021 TRD Off Road- I did some research and it could be the self cleaning fuel injectors. But are they supposed to be this loud? It obviously isn't this loud with the hood closed. Will be taking it to a dealership but wanted to see if anyone knows if this is normal.

Sounds totally normal, 300,000 miles in the future it will still sound the same.

Mine sounded funny and I took a video last yr but forgot to ask about it (here or dealer). I think the way I have the camera placed I was looking at the fan wobble to see if it was excessive (still don’t know that either). It sounds similar to yours I think.

I've never heard my 2017 V6 sound like that! Maybe I never heard mine in the wash cycle:confused:

Mine sounds more like a Singer Sewing machine.

So is this a problem if we DON'T have this ticking noise?
