Warning: A question that has been asked to death gets asked again.

2012 Stock TRD sport, going with headstrong 5100 kit and the Deaver AAL but I want to keep it level. Do I go with 883s or 884s? I know the diff is about 1" diff between those springs with my setup (4x4 DC). So how much should I expect to get out of the AAL and which spring will best help me keep it level.

From what I understand using a higher setting on the shock running 883s may yield s stiffer ride? My new SCS F5s are rubbing though so something has to change.

also I read on the headstrong website that they like to keep the 5100 set at 0 if that is possible and to adjust ride height using springs rather than the notch settings.

I went up ~2.5 in the front with 885s and ~1.5 in the rear with a single leaf AAL. It sits pretty level, it evens out with about 300lbs in the bed.

I have the recall leaf springs, not the factory ones.

Pretty sure my truck is on factory leafs but the truck is second hand to me. Headstrong says the Deaver AAL ads 1.5" - 2" in the rear. I measure my rake around 3/4" right now, ad that to the lift in the rear and now I have to make up 2-1/4" to 2-3/4" in the front. So yeah 885 are looking like the wise choice especially since my rake is going to increase when I ad the mobtown front hitch receiver (95Lbs ish).

ok been diggin and seems I would need new UCAs if I go with the 885s and that aint in the budget so its the 884s plus the Deaver AAL and whatever rake I am left with after that. thanks folks.
