Because of the popularity of your excellent products, including the SS3 Pro lights I installed a few months ago, I had availability issues here in Canada on the 42" amber light bar I planned to install on my roof rack. I ended up getting a white driving light and a set of seven amber flood lenses which I swapped in last night.

What I found is that the clear driving lenses have a channel molded or routed into them for the rubber gasket. The amber flood lenses I transferred the gaskets to, did not seem to have this channel. It was a pretty fiddly process to get the new lenses installed.

Just wondering if there is only one part number for the amber flood lenses, or whether I might have got the wrong ones?

I'm excited to install the stealth driving light I ordered yesterday! My truck will be as bright as the sun, full UFO lighting package!

 

That's strange! All replacements should have a groove to reuse the existing gasket. We're sorry for this inconvenience. We've passed this information on to our team for further investigation.

I just ordered and tried installing the HP11's and they are too long to fit in the housing. Why are these still being sold as fitting a 2nd gen?? I'm going to need a refund on these.

does the stealth kit use the Stage 30" light bar? Could I build a bar of 5 x6" stage series 6 lights? Would put 2 ambers on the ends with 3 whites in the middle and just use the stealth bracket? Whites and ambers on separate switches.

 

Any plans on making a fog kit for the latest 8th gen Camry? SE/XSE style bumper. Looks an SSC2 would fit perfectly in the factory fog pocket.

 

Just a FYI

I called Diode Dynamics today about the ssc2 orders being filled and was informed they are still trying to fill back orders from February and still waiting for the housings. Sounds like it might be a little longer then 8-12 weeks.

With that said if any one wants to sell a set of ssc2 pros I’m definitely willing to pay extra for them as I don’t want to wait that many months. It’s doesn’t matter what lenses you have or background color or if they have some damage. So if you want to change your background color this maybe a nice way to do it.
