Oh yeah. You think you're only gonna spend dough on the can, get it then spend all your time looking for new guns to screw it on. It's a sickness. :D

Griffin has released their first large bore can, it’s user serviceable and has many options for mounting configurations.

That is a nice can. I am looking for a universal that will work on my .308s, 6.5CM, .300BO, and 9mm Vector. That can is just about perfect.

A new player in town: Rex Silentium. The cans are incredible, some of the lightest out there, solid welded construction and it will take almost any mounting system in the industry: Silencerco ASR, Dead Air Keymo, YHM, Q Plan B/Cherry bomb, etc. I've got 4, they're fantastic.

Got this email today and checked 3 hours later (when I saw the email) and they were out of stock :(
    E30DD69C-FDF4-4CEA-9B2F-689646A7C8F1.jpg

I signed up for in stock notifications on the Resonator K also, it would be nice to use that can on my 6.8 SBR deer rifle even though it’s not quite as compact.

Im also looking at compact .22 cans, I have the Griffin Checkmate QD (now discontinued) and the TacSol Aeris caught my eye. The numbers don’t look terrible for rifle use considering it’s a 3” long can.

I just found this thread.

    From your first post:
Don't forget the seldom used, but still legal, purchase as a corporation.

Do you have any links to more information on this? I always understood that others could not posses it. In other words, they could not take it to the range if you don't go along. I have never heard it interpreted so strictly as they couldn't even know the combination to the safe it's stored in, or even that it is required to be stored in a safe.

I'll throw in some eye candy.

I am uneducated on the difference between a trust and corporation, are corporations used by us mere mortals or are they used mainly by companies like Silencerco, and others in the industry?

I don’t off the top of my head, it was something that the lawyer who set up my trust told me, he said that it was a short and easy walk to “constructive intent”.
It’s been widely debated online and it’s a grey area that based on my short time in LE a prosecutor would love to go after something like that, of course I would advise you to seek legal counsel and not the word of some stranger on the internet.

In this thread there’s some debate on it and Aaron makes a point using a similar, but not identical case.

Anyone that owns a corporation can can use it. It’s similar to a trust for NFA purposes.

I suspect it makes a difference what state you live in, and the attitude of your local District Attorney.

Thanks, I’ll give it a read.

Got a Rex MG10 currently in jail. Hoping the shorter approval time holds true when I’m up.

Also on like 10 waitlists for an AEM5, so far I’ve been told Allen Engineering isn’t taking new orders until they catch up on current orders. Could be late 2021 before I can even order one :(

Lots of folks getting gunned down by silencer equipped weapons every day. No wonder the bill was 'shot down'. Makes me feel safer every day, while my ears are ringing.
