Bilstiens all around with 2” front lift and 1” rear spacer. Fuel Vector wheels and General grabbers. S & B cold air intake, Demon red front D ring tow hooks. TRD grill. Soon to be Gibson cat back stainless steel exhaust and waiting on Ovtune.
New to the site and my first post. I installed hood struts as one of my mods when I bought my Taco. After installing the S& B cold air intake, I found the passenger side strut would not fit. Real bummer as I really liked them and didn’t feel safe with just one strut. Today I was determined to come up with a fix and I did and it works great. I will post pictures of what it did and it didn’t cost much at all. I know one goes one way and the other goes the other way, but it works fine and fits in the really narrow gap between the air box and fender.

    Welcome to TW!

I have the same intake. Makes nice sound. That's about it lol. Well, throttle response is better.

I still use the old fashioned hood prop rod. I never felt the need to install gas struts, but if I do in the future, I'll remember this.

    All the things!
FYI, that strut is upside-down. You lose the dampening at the end of the stroke, when it's installed like that.
