Ok... so, I'm done with the master shower. And I'm dinking around in the hall shower. The non-plumbing walls back up to each other.

And I had this wild assed idea.

Now that I'm done with the master shower, who thinks I shhould kick myself in the balls by buying a 5 inch porcelain hole saw, cutting a big assed hole in my brand new tile... to add a second shower valve and shower head, in the master?

I have everything open, in the hall bath, to tap my supply and run between the tub and studs over to the master (non-plumbing right now) wall.

Ceiling mount rain heads are worth the work. If your just going to stub out another wall mount head I wouldn't bother.

What's on the other side of the wet wall in the master?

What where the supply sizes on the master wet wall. I was just looking at the photo of the hall shower and it looks like there's a 3/4 cold supply and a 1/2 hot supply. They both tee off and loop back down. I'm guessing they ran that under the slab to pick up the master? My thought would be to try and keep both valves on the same wall if possible. Sheet rock is an easy repair but it will really be determined by the supply size on the master wet wall.

I'm not really sure what they did with the supply lines. The master had the same set up where it tee'd off and went back into the slab... I think that's actually feeding the toilet and faucets (reason the cold is 3/4 and hot is 1/2)

Just talked to the main plumber I have on my jobsite. He's saying the lines should be able to handle another shower valve (volume/pressure) no problem.

I’ve actually been looking at CM Tundras but the pricing is retarded. Sequoia isn’t exactly good value either but it’s got a few pros over the Tundra for me. One of the big ones is that it actually fits in my garage. Important nowadays with all the cat thefts.

What are you looking to get?
