Does anyone know how many watts the factory head unit in the 2021 puts out? Non JBL. I plan to upgrade the door and dash speakers and wonder what kind of push the stock unit puts out.

    Thank you!

With a test tone, you’ll get about 12w to the front channels, and about 5w to the rear.

the volume ramps up exponentially once you get above volume 40.

as all the other threads on here state, you can expect an increase in clarity but a decrease in bass and overall volume if you replace the speakers

2.5 inch lift, 285/75r16s, upgraded stereo system, Magnuson mp90 supercharger system.
Really depends on your goal for the system. If you search around a little bit you can find lots of threads that discuss it in detail. You can get at least a fair idea of what to expect from each component upgrade.

I’m waiting for a head unit I like before going further in the new truck, for now the new speakers and the bit 8.9 is a really nice upgrade. There are other products that do the same thing too.
