I thought the OR was soft?

Sport will not be what you're looking for, I think they are stiffer than the OR. I believe the limited shares suspension with the SR5.

Even at that I hate how soft my Sport suspension is.

OR is pretty much the softest option. You'll need to go for some good quality aftermarket suspension ($$$). Or perhaps a Ridgeline. No, seriously, a Ridgeline with the HPD package. All independent suspension on a unibody platform is going to ride better than a body on frame truck with leaf springs, and that's just a fact.

My 2020 OR suspension was like riding on a cloud and I really hated it. The brake dive and body roll was extremely annoying. Upgraded/lifted and I actually feel like I'm firmly planted on the road now, but still have a comfortable ride. Sounds like OP just hates how trucks ride.

Off-road stock suspension stiff? Not!! Soft as shit IMO. Body roll and nose dive was very noticeable. Different strokes for different folks

Off road stiff ? It’s more bouncy ... the sport is more stiff than the off-road ...if u want a better setup go for the pro fox setup if you can find a used set from a member here it gives u best of both worlds off-road and pavement .

I can see what OP is talking about. I agree that the suspension is stiff, in some cases. It seems harsher than our 4Runner SR5 when slow rolling over things and over road bumps at full speed. However, the OR suspension takes bigger bumps much better, especially with a bit of speed. I take speed bumps at my apartment at about 10-15 MPH because it feels smoother in my OR. But I don't dare do that in the 4Runner.

Like others have said, the OR is the softest in the current line up.

But, are you thinking that the rear might feel jittery? If so, test it with about 120lb of weight in the bed. You'll get a bit of preload (and a bit of sag) on the suspension. Two 60lb bags of tube sand are about $5.00 each at just about any big box home improvement store.

Agreed. I don't see Rancho mentioned often here in these forums? Am I just that outdated or are they junk now? Rancho's worked great on my 93 but that was a long time ago..... LOL

I was looking at a used 2020 Pro Army green for sale. This younger kid in his 20s was selling it. I could have bought it and was ready to have bought it but the vibrations were awful. I think it rode great, firm in a great way but in my honest opinion no any better than my 18 DCLB with 5100s. The wheeling he said he has done in the mud turned me off. Truck looked like it had 75k miles on it.

Seems these suspensions take a few thousand miles to settle in. I complained about mine months ago but with the tonneau cover and some extra weight in the bed its gotten much better.
