Can anybody recommend a rear dual swing out bumper for a 2021 Tundra that matches the styling of the ARB front bumper bumper? I want to get everything ordered before my truck is delivered.

Has anyone else noticed the excessive amount of people driving with extremely dated temp tags? Like expired in June and Aug 2020? I get a month or two, but wtf. Do law enforcement and troopers not latch onto that low hanging fruit anymore? It never fails to be someone hauling ass in town, too.

They actually haven’t been enforcing it recently cause the DMV can’t keep up with issuing the permanent plates. Source: I bought new vehicle in 2020 and lived it firsthand. I at least took the time to renew and get multiple new temp plates while I waited for the real deal to process.

EDIT: if you pay attention lots of people have way outdated stickers on their permanent plates for the exact same reason.

When I bought my Ford last fall the PO left his permanent plates on that had expired in the spring. I drove with those for a couple of months until the DMV finally gave me plates. Only got pulled over for it once, and the cop just apologized and told me to have a good day

    Stuff. Also things.
    Sigh...

That article just pissed me off.

I work with a younger dude, about 25, born and raised in Lakewood. The poor guy and his girlfriend, who both work good jobs and are fantastic people, can’t afford to live anywhere close to where he grew up. Rent is so high that they can’t save for a down payment on a house in any meaningful way (certainly not 20% of the ridiculous asking prices we see around here), and their landlord is telling them that their basic bitch one bedroom apartment rent is going to be over $2000 if they re-up their lease. So basically, they’re uber-fucked if they stick around their family and friends here. It’s a shitty deal, and it makes it hard not to begrudge the type of people like those in the article that can roll in here and take their pick of whatever house strikes their fancy and then go clog up the mountains, trails, etc.

Then again, I guess I’m part of the problem according to some of the salty ‘natives’, since I moved here from Utah in 2010.

    Whatever.
