Best bang for the buck on floor liners?

This question has been asked several times over the years, but it's been a while. Realtruck.com has 20% off Husky liners right now. It would come out to about $172 for front and back (double cab). I started looking on Amazon and found other cheaper options: Maxliner (Amazon's choice!), Smartliner, Yitamotor, Viwik and Oedro. I've never heard of any of those. However, they're all considerably cheaper. I can get front and back for anywhere from $93 (Yitamotor) to $119 (Viwik). They all get at least 4 1/2 stars, but I'm sometimes skeptical about whether those are real ratings. Does anyone have any experience with these brands? Is the Husky worth the extra $$?

 

The Huskyliner Exact fit are definitely with the money. Zero issues with mine.

 

Just got the maxliners: they are hard plastic junk. Wish I would have spent $60 more and just bought the weathertecs

 

In my experience you get what you pay for. Yes, you can save some bucks by going the cheaper route but I've always regretted going cheap, as it sometimes doesn't work as intended and might cause problems or headaches down the line.

 

I'm on my third vehicle with WeatherTechs.
I don't know where they're at $$ comparatively speaking, but all three sets have held up as well as the vehicle they were / are in.
Super nice compared to the Tacoma OEM floor liners. (The fronts, specifically. The rear OEM liner isn't bad)

 

I have had Rough Country ones in my last three vehicles and they aren't bad

 

I have the maxliners. I was drawn to them because of the price (I paid $109) and the floor coverage . They seems to cover a bit more than the weathertechs and others Ive seen especially in the rear flooring area. Yes they are harder plastic, more rigid then a rubber style, which was one thing I originally was staying away from. But now that Ive used them for the winter Im very happy with them, they clean up easy, and are exactly the kind of protection I was looking for.

Also a hard plastic. Made by husky. But dang, they keep the interior clean.

How do the Husky WeatherBeaters compare to the Gators, material-wise?

 

If not OEM, I'd go with WeatherTech.

 

I've had both, albeit in different vehicles. The Gators (in my Tacoma) are fine -- a bit stiffer than the Huskys and the fit wasn't quite as accurate. I had to dremel a bit of the backseat hump to get it to lay flat. If I had to do it again, I'd probably just splurge for the Huskys, but I definitely don't mind the Gators now that I've had them for a while. They certainly have done their job over this past winter.

 

I got the OEM ones, but usually go with weathertech in all our vehichles, never had a problem.

I currently have the Huskys in the Taco and had Weathertech in my older Tundra. My Huskys are a bit softer (flexible), less $$ and cover a bit more. The Weathertecs were stiffer, not quite as good a fit (passenger front only) but were rugged as hell and fine for doing what they are designed to do. Doubt you can go wrong with either....personal preference....I just went with saving a couple bucks.

 

Don’t shoot me for this but I actually got and like the TRD pro mats. For pretty much everything else I wouldn’t put something on the truck that actually says TRD pro because it’s a little silly to fake badge or whatever. With the mats I think it’s OK because it doesn’t really stand out and they look good. $149

I just got a set of husky liners for my 2nd gen and I think they’re totally worth the money. Way better than the stock all weather mats and seem like they’ll last forever.

 

I had husky in my tundra, pretty hard to beat. Now i have the toyota floor mats for the tacoma. They are not bad either. Imo, you can't go wrong with either. I'd advise staying away from the cheap crap. You want them to fit the vehicle well.

 

I have WeatherTechs in my Tacoma, and Huskyliner Xact-Contour in my wife's Grand Cherokee.

I don't think the WeatherTech fit is particularly good in the Tacoma, compared to previous WeatherTechs I've had in my 2G or my wife's old CX-5. I like the thicker pliable rubber of the Xact Contour compared to the hard plastic of the WeatherTech. They're also a bit less slippery. You cannot go wrong with either, but I think I'd go Husky on the next one.

I had weathertechs once and never again. They curled up after one winter and looked like hammered rat shit after a year. Individual results might vary. The guy that bought the truck was happy I had them, but I didn't tell him I flipped them over by a heater to get them to uncurl.

 

Husky Liners are great, no experience with anything else.
