Who all is running aftermarket front bumper and no issues with TSS?

    I have been going through a ton of threads on TW the past few days trying to see who is running what front bumpers and if they are having issues with the TSS sensor.

    I started this thread in hopes those out there that do have an aftermarket bumper can post a picture of what you got (bumper, grill and your TSS location. I see it depends on grill and possibly year where it’s located) and if you’ve had any issues with the TSS. I think it could help a ton of people out having the info and photos in one spot.

    I run the Body Armor slim bumper. Had a Pro grill and an Off Road grill. No problems with either TSS location.

    *bump* for this thread. I've always wanted to get the @CBI Offroad Fab Baja front bumper for my 2018, but I am also concerned about the TSS. FWIW I have the Avid front bumper guard, and haven't had any issues.

    I have a Victory Strike and added the tubework. It does randomly affect me. it barely blocks the sensor too. First time it went off I was doing 75 plus on the highway with no one in front of me. Glad it doesn't auto brake or there would be real issues. I turned it off since then.

    Love the bumper. Might just try to move the sensor up with a bracket. Might not. Doesn't really matter to me.

    Good question. Might have to check with dealer. I just did it on the wheel/dash settings. I'll go check in a few if it saves when I turn off. It might have gone off since.. Maybe once. Stay tuned

    I’m surprised that doesn’t affect it at all. Figured it would with the metal blocking it. Does the adaptive cruise control still function?

    That is similar to the Fab Four bumper I was looking at for height. I ordered a grill from tacovinyl that moves the sensor up. You may look into their sensor bracket and see if that helps

    Yea I was looking thru mine and I couldn't see anything to turn it off permanently. I do see a lot of people who do lifts and aftermarket bumpers go with the TRD grille, which drops the sensor lower. That might work for yours so that it would 'see' through the hoop. Let us know what works or what the dealership says.
