That's a mod? Is there only one or did you do 4 of them exactly the same?

Doesn't having it up in your righthand line of sight not only get annoying but also a potential safety risk?

Kind of an obstruction of visibility and an odd spot but, cool idea.

Man, I don't know how anyone can drive with phones in their face like that. I see that all the time around town. Just feels like its asking for someone to scrape off your passenger fender for you, ya know?

I'd use those brackets to fab up a mount down low, like around the passenger footwell/console area. And then use the gopro clip to mount a real dashcam. The phone wont record anything useful if it goes flying off that magnet. If anything, it will actually hurt your case. Chances are if you get in a wreck the constable will see that rig and write up a citation for distracted. My opinion, anyhow.

That's a lot of zoomed in pictures o_O

Seems like this would block your line of sight. But if you were to do this, wouldn't it have been easier just to use a single flexible arm mount, instead of multiple mounts?

People start threads asking about best mods and I could easily say the number 1 recommended “mod” is bed mat haha. At least OP did some tinkering, however little.

My bed mat required a little bit of adjusting to get it to sit perfect.

Should have paid the dealer to install so you didn’t have to deal with it.

After setting up a wholesale parts account I didn’t want to ask what their “industry” labor rate was for a bed mat install.

Haha I failed miserably at my first post on this site. I only meant to show the three pics. Two of the pics were duplicated 3x each. woops
I just did not want to use the ac vent clip which came with the charger since my phone did get too hot during the winter with the heater on. I followed y'all's input and was able to move it using different links and is now at the level of my rear view mirror. The previous install did obstruct my view a bit, and I didn't like having to turn my head to see google maps directions. Now I can simply shift my eyes over like looking at rearview mirror without the obstructed view. Thanks for the helpful input guys.
