2015 Sport Mirror Switch

    Only part I can’t separate is the white part. Mine isn’t lit, and I think it was before. Is there a small changeable bulb in there like the other switches. I put new bulbs in all the other switches just didn’t know of this switch had one.

    I replaced all the bulbs in the regular switches like that, the mirror switch is different from those.

    The mirror control switch doesn't have any back light in the stock switch. I've seen a few writeups on the interweb where guys have added their own LEDs to stock switches, but the solution was elegant. There is some info here on other Toyota switches that can be used that do have proper back lights:

    interesting, wonder what that piece is then, switches I've removed like that before are for the bulbs.

    I guess I'm confused why you posted the picture in the original post then? I've never seen the switch in person to know the difference either way lol

    That's the bulb location in all the elongated versions that I put new lights in. The mirror switch is not the same, and was asking if it had one.

    oh, alright. So then my answer was based on the assumption that picture was the mirror switch haha sorry. I've never had the mirror switch out to look that close on the switch construction.

    No worries they put a lighted switch in a Prius in 2012 but not a 2015 Loaded Tacoma.
