Just picked up a 97 4Runner 4WD 5 Speed

Just picked up this V6 97 4Runner 4WD Manual transmission and came with a stock E-Locker. Needs to have the suspension replaced, and a few seals down on the transfer case.

My dad had one of these, we crashed into a stop sign with it in winter, he complained about how light it felt.

My neighbor then picked up a 98 limited, so my dad waited and bought a 99 limited. Pissing contest with 4runners.

The 4 banger is perfect with a 5 speed and a locker, good find!

 

Nice, i have a 97 auto and love it, i miss my 03 manual so i picked up this 5 speed 4wd.

Spent about 1k more then i wanted but been gathering parts for a auto to manual swap. This is the easiest way to go. These sell pretty quick and the guy wouldnt budge on the price.

Just and FYI i picked up a Magnaflow overland exhaust system from hottexhaust and using a coupon saved $137 free shipping no tax. pretty cool $ 548 total. just thought i would share, my exhaust had a few pin holes and it was time for a replacement.
