Was actually one of the slickest days I've been up (a lot of black ice) saw a few tacos that got a few boo boos, yohb...fortunately no serious injuries to the tacos or it's occupants. Be safe everybody

When you said taco carnage, I thought someone ate a bunch of tacos and well...
Someone always pushes a little too hard, but ice is tricky and you sometimes don't know you're in it... till you're in it. Sometimes people think because they have a Tacoma, or a Subi, or a Jeep, they can go through anything and don't exercise caution. Overconfidence is almost as bad as incompetence.

    I've taken the mudflaps off?
I always laugh that people don't realize that 4wd and AWD don't make you TURN or STOP any better lol.

Glad no one got hurt. We drive that road several times a winter to go up to ski and I'm never surprised by how many cars and trucks I see off the side: SoCal drivers are bad enough in just the rain, throw some ice in the equation and it's a complete shitshow!

I usually just throw 200lbs of ballast in my bed over the axel before we leave, airdown to about 20lbs at that last Chevron at the bottom of the hill and very gently 4H-it around everyone lol

Not sure if airing down does anything for you in the snow. Might actually make things worse.
