    Thought this was interesting.

I’m indifferent towards the rear coil vs leaf debate. But the that grille is looking kinda low. I hope they don’t buy into that pickups should look ridiculously bulbous and beefy trend that others doing where the headlight housings and grille take up the entire front end of the truck.

One of the things I like about the current model is that it all seems proportionate, chiseled, and fast. But that’s just me.

I do like coil suspensions, but on live axles, that wagner bar is just annoying when hitting even bumps going down a road on the vehicles that I have driven with them.

Gas tank on the right too, 6 lug nuts, this is a big change.

The old truck was very bouncy, I never really enjoyed driving them.

Since the next Generation Tacoma will have the same platform we can probably assume it will also have coils out back too.

Likely a lower frame for more cabin space. Ground clearance is going to suffer, but I'd rather get MPG and cabin space.

Good spotting. I see lots of Tundra / Taco swaps with the new platform.

If this drives anything like my Ram with rear coils, its a serious upgrade for 90% of truck owners. I couldnt believe a truck could ride that smooth when i was testing drive them.

Looks like the crewmax will have a standard 6' bed.

Glad to see that the "pug nose" of the current Tundra is getting "fixed"... however, this side shot makes it look loooooooong...

Not 100% certain, but could that be a composite bed?

That fakey suspension skirt didn't help much.

I don't know. I am guessing the Taco won't get the TT version.

A lot of other stuff from a common platform might be swappable. Front suspension, front diff, etc.

This is what I have seen so far - not sure how true it is, but motortrend posted it.

They could stand to stay away from any more fake Skewps. Esp when the other full sizers are adding functional scoops and venting.

We can only hope their electronics, engine tuning, and hardware can not just compare but compete with the other full size trucks

That's gonna be one comfortable truck. I drove the new Ram with rear coils and it's definitely the best riding truck in the class currently.
