No. You need to get out west for a proper trail day...

I’ve been dying to push my truck, rough it up more. Let’s meet up in Moab or something!

I thought there was. Trans Iowa Trail (T.I.T) to compliment Wisconsin's T.W.A.T.

One of these summers. Or maybe fall/early winter when places aren't so crowded.

Sometimes when I go to the mall and run over a tiny pebble it feels like I'm rock crawling.

Gotta start somewhere. I'll probably spend another summer exploring Wisconsin, maybe the U.P and some other areas in the Midwest. I have limited vacation time so it's hard to justify a week long wheeling trip. Maybe next year.

Damn, I should retire early and take a week long vacation out west. It would be ideal if I could time it to coincide with my wife's monthly anger management week.

I’ve got a 3 areas like that within an hour or so from my house, with everything from easy to extreme buggies only. I’ve been going out, learning my truck, roughing up all my armor, driveshaft (oops), tearing my core support etc.

I’m just poking fun at the fact that the Midwest has almost no hard wheeling, outside a handful of off-road parks. And at the dudes who’s big day is taking their Tacoma part way up the twat.

To be fair I see far more modded Tacoma’s here in NM than I ever did while living in WI and I guaran-damn-tee most of them haven’t seen more than a mellow fire road once a year at best.

My truck is beat up, scratched to hell, bent inner tie rods (replaced a bit ago), cracked sheet metal all over the place and I have barely got my feet wet off-roading! Plus our west I have the

I’d love to join you in some rowdy muddy off-road park, but instead... I’m five hours from Moab so I think I’ll go there instead, cause damn Missouri is far and the drive is dull as hell.

Not everyone is interested in hardcore wheeling. Some of us just enjoy the scenery off the beaten path. It's not like we're all solid axle swapped on 37's running fire roads here. Just a bunch of mostly stock Toyotas having fun in the woods.

I might come out west to try some more challenging trails eventually. I'll let you know if I pick a time, and maybe you can be my guide. The places you post in your build thread look amazing!

When my Tacoma isn't my daily driver, I'd love to push the boundaries a bit more.

For now though, I'll enjoy its capabilities to go to places off the beaten path that most people don't, primarily for camping, light wheeling, and other enjoyment.
