At least some of us know how to wheel without tearing our truck to pieces. :D

Oh you will! These trucks are flimsy like cardboard! The driveshaft (scuffed but fine), is my bad. The tearing core support is quite common in these trucks.

I’m just glad I don’t have to wheel hard in mud near trees. That’s how one gets body panel damage.

*to be fair a bunch of scratches are from me trying to explore other dirt roads the day I ran the pipeline alone. Scratching down both sides of the truck.

well you know... You could not ram your core support into the rocks. Always a thought.

Plenty of mud and trees out here in the tame and lame Midwest. :mudding:

Dont tell me how to live my life! I can ram my core support into whatever I want!

...Core support cracking is about twisting frames, heavier batteries (apparently Toyota thought it was a good idea to hold a heavy battery on folded sheet metal and nothing more?), and bigger tires. And it’s pretty common on these trucks when you try hard (wheeling or go fast whoops)
    :bikewhoops:

It’s when you ram a bigger tire into the inner fender like this

    That you do this

That place is notorious for flipping 4Runners. I'd be very nervous going through there.

Cool. See you Saturday! Tacomaworld will be well represented! Plus, a few 4Runner guys are showing up as well Should be a great time!

I don't see how they're top heavy unless these are guys with giant roof racks loaded with heavy tools or roof top tents?

Things like this are why I got rid of the big basket.. I want a small flat rack for my Traction boards and hauling the kayak and that's about it. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my spare, though.

I only want to add weight down low. And, I'm trying to keep everything heavy low and between the axles. This year I will be focused on simplifying and organizing things better. And, getting the hell out of town whenever possible of course. :)
