trouble finding front carrier

    12 inch lift 38 inch swampers
    my front gears blew up damaged carrier having trouble finding one without auto lock can i remove the autolock extention and put on my manual extention to an autolock carrier?

    HHHmmmm, I don't know what to tell you. I think then only way to find out is to take some measurements and compare. They should be the same length in theory. I would be concerned with the mounting flanges being the same

    i have looked at a lot of pics looks like the ADD is all in the extention but you're probably right about the measurement part a pic won't help me with measurements and i don't know anyone personally with the ADD system. I don't see why the actual diff would be any different for either auto or manual hoping someone has tried this in the past

    You may want to try pirate4x4 or yotatech. One of those guys might actaully have the parts you need.
