Yeah, they weren't wired to work with the DRL's. The New V5's will have that option.

So go out to your truck when you can. Have the stalk set to all off. Put your driver side window lock on and see if your passenger side DRL turn is on.

I wired both of mine to the passenger side.

 

So you just added some wire to the red and white wires and run it to the passenger side red and white wires which is tied into the pink and green?

 

Yes, if I read that right. Just ran two taps off the passenger pink and green, one to the passenger and one to the diver side LE turn connector

I did it when I did my puddle light install. Almost 2 years later and works great.

 

Thanks for that. Really wish I knew which edition # mine was. My guy replied and said he threw the golden emblems away about 6 months back. I didn’t even know about them till I seen this page

I wired mine to passenger side as well now it does like you said it should. With window lock locked they do not kick back on after I kill my engine and lock my doors. If window lock is unlocked it still does it..kicks on for about 30 seconds till it goes off. Happy enough with the window lock switch though thanks a lot tacospike. I guess it could be something they added on 2019 idk. But good enough for me I can at least turn them off now when I choose.
