The thing is seller's aren’t accepting contingencies even with a fat down payment.. Sellers want to take the quick easy cash.. When you do find a home and get outbid by 20-30k, it can be a never ending battle.
You could end up homeless.

Exactly, a friend of my wife's end up in a bidding war and ended up paying 56k over asking price. At that point though she felt like they had no choice after losing the last 11 houses they put offered in on and still got out bid on.

That’s the problem, I’d rather stay were I’m at than being taken for a ride..

 

Truck camper would be fine for a couple and a dog not for the wife, me, three kids, 4 dogs, cat, 5 horses etc. You get the idea.

 

And just to add how in the hell would I keep said psycho pupper Doggo in a camper, when I had to install coyote rollers on a 6ft fence just to keep her in my yard!!

Last late spring/early summer when we got our place I filled up a 3 yard dumpster twice just to clean out an old shed. Garage was full of paint, cleaners, fertilizer from 10 years ago..

 

I wonder if I can use the smoker in the garage for the snow. I can't go 2 days without my smoked meet

 

I was shocked when we closed on the house. The seller got everything out. Turns out it was her realtor who did most the leg work...poor guy. Since then we've filled up a 10 yard dumpster and a couple dumpster bags with crap we ripped out of the house.

 

I filled a 30 yard dumpster and ran out of room. I’m now accumulating more on the side of the house preparing for the second 30 yarder. A good amount of that was carpet and stuff though.

I haven't even started on the interior just yet. Wasn't as much stuff but still things you would think would be cleaned out.
We left our house immaculate before we moved, figured that was common.

My Toro snowblower is ready. Bought it used from Big Tool Box in Centennial 4 seasons ago. I like how it starts right up after long periods without use.

I had to go to a friends last night to help her get her Toro snow blower running. She did a bunch of "repairs" recently and then it didnt run well.
