I went to Glacier NP in Montana two summers ago for vacation and rented a new F150 Lariat with the V8. It was really roomy and comfortable, and it was nice to have that extra power. My only big complaint is that a lot of the interior felt cheap and reminded me of older Fords I've encountered that look run down after a few years.

I wouldn't be opposed to owning one, but I remember coming home and being really happy to be in my Tacoma again. It's just fun and maneuverable, and I enjoy the overall driving experience. I would still consider other options in the future though.

Think the oil burning has been fixed. But for 21 the oil pump is now belt driven... Don't like that for the long haul.

I had a 3.5 ecoboost before my taco (15). I wouldn't overlook either as an option. Only thing 5.0 has going for it is sound imo.

Planning on shifting to a Bronco when Ford fulfills my order (MY21 or MY22).
