I rarely post there but I visit weekly. The content is good but it doesn't have a ton of members compared to here and Tundras.com.

I post over on mud under the same username but not super often. I asked the great Bob if he might carve us out a spot on 4Runners.com but didn’t seem like it was going to happen. The TW/Tundras/4Runners trio of forums are way better platforms than mud or t4r. I’ve made comments critiquing some of the problems with those forums elsewhere and the forum mods or owners get annoyed about it. Fact is mud likes to redirect you to malware/spam (I run adblockers and such but point is that it does it to begin with) and t4r has been hacked countless times, not to mention it flat out sucks in general.

All are certainly better than Facebook.

I found a solution for the fog light connectors. I don't think it will be a direct plug in but it's pretty close. If nothing else, snip off the harness side and use the female connector in this set. I went ahead and ordered 4 sets (2 pair) to get free shipping. Then I'll have an extra set for future use.

They also offer a media mount that screws into the factory tape deck. But for $44 I can make my own as it seems pretty solid.

I’m on MUD, same username but don’t go/post there often, not a fan of the layout of the site, but there are some solid 150/GX builds over there.

I’m also on ClubLexus, under the same username as well.

I'm on Club Lexus as offroad200. I usually just get on to help people figure out the tech in their cars.

It like these new Lexus wanna be "overlander" owners just can't help themselves. Parking your "rig" in front of you $500k suburban home because you're not used to being out in the country and nature.
Maybe because I grew up in the woods, it's just not as big of a deal to me. Hence, Broverlanding is the perfect name for this thread.

my IG is @Broverland_NC for that specific reason. I grew up on 7 acres, played outside all the time. I suffer from a condition called "love for the outdoors" now.

    On a side subject:

My GX has 230k on the odometer. Currently getting 12-13mpg. Plan on replacing CV axles (both leaking), O2 sensors, and trans/diff fluids because i don't see in the history it's been done recently/ever. I know @SearArtist said he's getting 19. What are some other ideas to help boost up the mpg a little?

Got a friend that camps/hikes in the mountains almost every weekend. He grew up in the suburbs. I totally get it! But growing up playing in the woods, it doesn't carry the same enthusiasm I guess.

Drive slower. But seriously, has @SearArtist measured the mpg or is he going by the car's readout? The car's readout is a little optimistic and his GX is stock. Plus you're lifted now on m/t's, you're probably getting the expected MPGs. Before I lifted mine and on street tires, I was averaging 16 MPG. Now it's about 13. I have 217k on mine with an excellent service history.

What are the dealers recommending to use for the fluids for the trans/diff?
