To start out I want to thank @crashnburn80 with my headlight build and how to properly do it. I started out making the mistake of trying to put an LED headlight in my stock reflector housing, which was disastrous to say the least. All beam control was completely lost and the bulb was no brighter than stock. Once I was done talking to @crashnburn80 he helped me come up with a plan to get 1. An upgraded wiring harness to support 2. The hight voltage upgraded hooligan bulb. The results are below in the pictures.

-The first picture shows LED with the brights on (all beam control completely lost and very little light out put)
-The second picture is just low beams on the Osram 100w/90 Bulb with upgraded wiring harness
-The third picture is high beams with the osram 100w bulb and upgraded harness

*night and day difference here....do not put an LED in a Gen 2 stock housing. Upgrade the harness and get a high wattage bulb. The difference is amazing and I can actually see at night now and have full beam control.....thus I don’t get flashed.

*The harness upgrade is as easy as it gets and well worth the money!!

thank you @crashnburn80 i highly recommend reaching out to him with any questions regarding lighting.

I did that upgrade to and have been happy with it, huge improvement. Unfortunately when I installed 884 springs up front I forgot to mark the height of the cutoff and have been getting flashed since. Need to adjust my headlights now, not quite sure how much though

You want the beam at 25 ft away to be equal in height to the hight of the middle of your headlight assembly. Get a tape measure and some painters tape. Will take 5 minutes! Hope that helps.

That is super helpful! I found some guide on how to adjust it and it was insanely technical. I was just going to giver a few turns but I'll go with your method. Thanks

No problem! Here is a bit more detailed statement “The top of the low beam shining on the wall should be at or slightly below the height of the center of the headlight lens for most vehicles. You should expect the light pattern to be higher on the right side (passenger side) to illuminate road signs and lower on the driver's side to prevent blinding other drivers.”
