I recently acquired a 1998 Toyota Tacoma. The AC and heat worked but the pushbutton switch on the dash was broken out so I’m guessing it was stuck in the AC on position. After watching a few videos it seemed like a pretty simple pull out plug-in repair. When I put the new switch in it started blowing 10 amp AC fuses under the hood as quick as I could put them in I can’t see any skinned wires any ideas from anyone.
