So I changed out my bypass hose the other day with the newer metal pipe, and when I finally got the intake manifold and everything put back together I hopped in the truck and.... it would start to crank but not turn over.
I used starter fluid and it did start for about a half second, but still it would just sputter and die. I also unplugged a fuel line before the filter, and there’s no fuel being sent through when I crank.
I’m stumped and calling on you guys who are much more knowledgeable than me. Thanks!

I'm assuming we are discussing a 2.7 liter 2TR-FE 4 cylinder engine correct? I would double check and make sure the hoses are connected to the correct locations first as you removed the intake manifold to get to the bypass pipe.

I’ll let y’all know what I find when I get off this afternoon. Gonna take off everything again and make double sure that back ventilation hose is on correctly. When I looked at it the other day I noticed it was split at the end about a quarter inch where it slips onto the back of the intake manifold. I thought I could get away with it but maybe not.

So I found the culprit guys, turns out I crossed the two fuel lines beside each other the wrong way. Put them back the way they’re supposed to go and it started right up.

This wouldn’t be the first time Jimmy has “figured it out”.
I remember a post awhile back. One member had the same issue.
Dude had tried everything. Then Jimmy pops in, tells the guy to swap the fuel lines.
    And BANG.....problem solved.

Jimmy needs a case of beer. Not just 1 beer.

There are a handful of guys here that are really helpful and often right. Jimmy is definitely one of them.

Real easy to do as they are so close. You aren't the first and won't be the last.
