Well, I would like to start off by saying that there was a long time I never thought this day would come. I have absolutely loved this truck and there is a part of me which will miss her, however, my lifestyle has changed significantly and I drive further to work so I am prioritizing economy over my love of my Tacoma and putting her up for sale. I won’t have time to take fun weekend trips to go off-roading anyway so I want to find someone who will get to put her to good use. She is a workhorse of a truck and is particularly well suited to both off-roading and towing compared to other Tacomas. Allow me to explain:

First off, we have upgraded 5.29 ratio gears allowing for better torque both for crawling and for pulling. Allowing for slightly more power are an AFE intake, custom exhaust, and OrangeVirus tune with VFtuner software. These come in handy for spinning up the 34.5” General Grabber ATX tires mated to 17x8.5, -24mm offset Relations Race wheels Forged Monoblock wheels.

To stop this beast of a truck with those meaty tires, I added Stoptech brakes up front, converted to 4Runner disc brakes in the rear, and added a Sequoia disc/disk master cylinder to balance out brake bias.
For clearance, she has a 3” lift all around on Deaver expo 12-leaf leaf packs, Archive Garage hammer hangers, SUA conversion, and Fox shocks and air bump stops.

Up front, we have Fox coil overs with 700lb coils and reservoirs, Total chaos UCAs, and a JD fabrication subframe allowing for additional caster by way of relocating the LCA mounts forward, allowing the truck to handle and drive as well as stock or better on the 34.5s.

Visually, she has a CCG mesh grille with a CNC machined devil horn Toyota emblem, over a C3 Fabrication bumper powder coated by Precision Powder coating in Virginia Beach, VA.

Additionally, there are Victory fab high clearance sliders, and LED lights all around including Morimoto XB led headlights with triple projectors and TRD pro taillights with led drop ins, as well as Meso-Customs LED side mirror turn signals.

Inside, sound comes through a Pioneer AVIC-5100 headunit and travels to a kenwood excelon amp for the kenwood door speakers, and a kicker amp for the pioneer subwoofers. All speakers have foam cones behind them, and the doors have been sound deadened with dynamat xtralite as well as behind the subwoofer box and much of the plastics.

Aiding in ripping off quick shifts are a Hurst short shifter, as well as a weighted Raceseng shift knob and clutch accumulator delete. I am also including a spare throw out bearing and URD stage 3 clutch.

This brings me to the few areas in need of attention:
    1) the throw out bearing currently squeaks. While this does not affect functionality of the clutch and it holds power without issue, it is annoying and needs to be mentioned.
    2) this truck has been in 2 accidents. The first it was backed into while parked outside my apartment, and was repaired by a Toyota dealership in High Point NC. No engine parts or suspension parts were affected.
The second one happened when I was crossing a road and couldn’t see a Toyota Solara coming behind a row of cars and the Solara ran up under my truck. The front suspension took most of the damage from that and everything has since been replaced, including the LCA mounts being cut off and replaced with a subframe with new LCA mounts which was installed completely square on the frame to ensure no alignment issues in the future. I can provide pictures from both accidents for prospective buyers, but no expense was spared either time to get her back to 100%.
I have all receipts for anything done to this truck in a binder organized chronologically which I will include with the sale. Please send me a PM if there is any additional information I can provide.

There are a lot of little things I’m probably forgetting, this is an awesome truck with easily 60k invested. Looking to find her an awesome new home with someone to take her on adventures and get the most of what she has to offer.

To conclude, I am looking to get 38k for her but am entertaining offers for her and will seriously consider any real offers. I have some extra parts which will also be included with the sale such as the aforementioned clutch and TOB, as well as some 934 CVs from JD fab and Toyota axle shafts, as well as new brake components all around including an extra set of stoptech rotor rings which cost me around $900. My current rotor rings are roughly 2 years old now and show virtually no signs of wear, so those coupled with the BNIB ones should last quite a while.
