    Thought about buying one of these JDM engines off ebay.But I was looking at the pic of the one listed for a 95-96 4x4,not sure it will fit.Does anyone have a clue what the gold tube running in front of the valve cover from one side to the other side,mine doesn't have this,,,help before spend 2grand on a new motor.Screenshot_20210313-175857_eBay.jpg

    Honestly you'd swap your intake onto that motor anyways. As long as its the correct engine designation and its an auto or manual you are likely good.

    Never use a donor motor's harness or electrics. You know yours is good. Keep them.

    It looks to me like it could be some type of coolant line. Seems like it connects to some kind of module or sensor on the front of the intake manifold. If the head has the same number of ports on it as your current motor, you may be able to replace that one with your current manifold. I've only worked on 98-00 USDM 3RZ's so take my words with a grain of salt.

    OME lift, 4x sliders, Demello rear bumper, custom front bumper, Engo 9000lb winch
    I think the biggest thing to look for is if it's a 8 port or 4 port intake. If it is, all of your current stuff should swap over.
