    productive day here for me...cleaned house (well, most of it), did some laundry, started another quilt and just finished building my dish of lasagna which will be going into the oven shortly. hoping i can keep up this pace tomorrow too and finish cleaning...i need to get the quilt/sewing mess pared down a bit since sewing season is almost over and camping season will begin.

    i had 2nds...feeling a wee bit stuffed now :oops:

    that was one of my best moose encounters...back when I was still in a ground tent and cruising around in Baby Toy.
    Was out hunting for moose and was on my way back out of a dead end road when that fella and a buddy came out of the trees about 100 yards away. I stopped the truck and got out, sat on a rock and watched them browse for a bit. then they started walking right towards me. i got up off the rock and walked the few yards back to Toy. that pic was taken as i was standing on the slider, body wedged in the open door, camera propped on the roof. they ended up crossing the road about 10 yards behind the truck and never showed any signs of stress or even really acknowledging me....just two mooses doing moose things and not caring about the nosy human
